Mountain Biking Downhill Racing

Christchurch Adventure Park is excited to bring Downhill racing to Wednesday afternoon school sport.

Term 4 will be based around encouraging new riders to race, with trail selection being based on this ability level. As their ability and confidence improves over the term so will the trail selection. The purpose of this program is to not only progress students’ riding skills but also provide a pathway to higher level racing (eg. Gravity Canterbury Summer Series, South Island Champs, Nationals, etc) through improving their confidence and comfort racing against the clock. Live timing will be available via the internet and students are encouraged to attempt to better their previous time each lap.

When: Term 4 -  Wednesday 8th October - Wednesday 12th November (6 Weeks)

Where: Christchurch Adventure Park

Cost: Cost The cost of term 4 per student will be $120. This is a single upfront payment and students commit to all 6 weeks. For those senior students who will be shifting into study leave in the second half of term 4, they are welcome to sign up to the first 3 weeks or the full 6 weeks. ($60 for the 3 weeks)
