The Regional Sports Director’s office also organises competitions in Basketball (Friday) and Volleyball (Monday)
The Sports Director’s Office holds a number of items of equipment which are available for the use of partner schools at no cost (but on a “repair damage” basis). Items include a pack of 8 two-way radios, a two cone portable & battery operated sound system, large easily erected shade shelters, large number cards (visible across a swimming pool, an electronic score board (suitable for basketball etc, fits into a Corolla for easy transport), a cyro-cuff (ice treatment) which is available for tournaments but not individual teams. Application and bookings are made to the Sports Director’s Office on 3433 182. The office also holds a copy of the New Zealand Sports Law Manual
